Overview of my experience in Disabilities Drama Drama Group Director/Tutor "The Troupadoors" Cosmos Recreation Services Hobart 2002-2006. Teaching and working (Director) with a group of people with a disability leading to performances in a variety of venues including Moonah Arts Centre, University of Hobart Studio Theatre, Guildford Young College. Recent productions include : Hawaii Frog-O, Toms Revenge and Fish Dish. President Brrrr Theatre Group Inc (Semi-Professional) Ballarat. 1998 2001 Facilitation of meetings, administration, planning, marketing, submission writing and acting. Participated as a consultant in the First Steps Program providing feedback and advice on Awakenings Performing Arts Festival and drama within disabilities. Envisaged programs and projects that extend the skills of participants across a wide range of areas: music, filmmaking, radio production, research, acting, writing, design and consultation. Helped to create a support structure based on approach focused on ability: we are all perceived to have a disability if we are not given opportunities in life. Involved in range of productions as well as creating and performing integrated rock group called RPM 45. |
